iPods: Yeah, but what I really want is for a small band to always be near me, playing that song, so other people will always be dancing near me. Barring that, I would accept it if somebody implanted it in my brain, to avoid the hassle of charging my iPod every night.
But wait, I thought that was how the iPods work! Otherwise who's spending all that money I send to the iPod people every week? -- I was told that was the band's salary.
(WRT implanting it in your brain, I've heard but haven't tried it out yet, that if you crack the iPod open and put it next to your ear, the tiny band members can be induced to cross over into your cortex. To lure them on maybe put a couple of drops of bourbon in your ear canal.)
Also: if you like dancing, try listening to track 14 of this mix: "A Thing to Come by", by Jimmy McGriff.
