You know, at first i couldnt understand what these chariots had to do with homeland security. i even wondered if they weren't just a way to allow cops to be lazier than they already are. then i thought about it. then i ate some pie.
Yeah, the police dude they interviewed on WVTF (goddammit, post some audio you fucks) said something like, "These new vehicles allow us to have a presence in areas previous inaccessible by a conventional patrol car, you know, without getting out of the car."
Um, heaven forbid you walk. But seriously, aren't Vespas like 1/6th the price? Because if you're going to be ridiculous, fucking go for it.
Also, if you click through to the coppers' website, they use Comic Sans quite prominently. So it's like the terrorists have already won and then sold us scooters.
