I submit that the most annoying cell-phone-related behavior is dialing into your phone a phone number as I'm dictating it to you via a phone call to that same phone on which you're dialing.

But seriously, why do I need a pen? I can twitter, Jott, or SMS my way out of anything these days. I always leave my pen in my pants, making laundry a very dangerous time. So, perhaps a better solution is to say, "I'll text you the number in a few seconds," and go about your happy life.
