Recently, I conceived of a risible addition to the catalogue of jokes, and I should like to share:
Q: Did you hear about the sign they displayed on the train in México when said train was running late?
A: It said "On delay"*.
*Pronounced like ándale, you see.

Man that footnote is poor style. You're supposed to put the joke up for a couple days, then when nobody gets it add the footnote as an update.
Nice to see the word "risible" though -- that is not used frequently enough. For a long time in my youth I had never heard it, only read it, and I seem to remember saying it with a long "i" and being corrected, and feeling humiliated.
