Tourn Around
Possible activity for next Sunday: Badminton tournament in our backyard. We were discussing a $5 buy-in, to fund a keg and some prize money. Alternatively, we could just play, um, for the game, man.
Haters: there will be a losers' bracket, so you're guaranteed two games and some beer for a measly five bucks.
So?
Update: No swimming pool re-filling for us. Maybe we can add chlorine? That water's kinda skunky right now.

Will Hurra Tourpedo be making an appearance?
One can only hope...
i'm in. i can't wait to stroke that shuttlecock.
Hott. I think that brings us to ten people: Hambone, Bayleaf, Maxamillion, Packrich, A.Smith, Justin W., T(h)om, me, and two people I'm forgetting (Johnny Wall Street? Maybe he's not working). Ideally we should get to 16 for a balanced tournament bracket. Who else is down?
How exciting! I had a similar idea for a Scrabble tournament. Maybe this could become a thing. Turning old school family fun into money making ventures. Cool.
Can we play volleyball at the intervals?
I don't see why not. Maxican and I were also discussing having a losers' horseshoe game at halftime. The two people who have scored the fewest points in the tournament up till that point will play a game of 'shoes to determine the loserest between them.
Could we refrain from using the term "loser" to refer to those who prefer other backyard entertainment?
Croquet!
