Nine Digits of "LEAVE ME ALONE!"?

Today I spent a not insignificant amount of time pondering exactly what an Anti-Social Security number would be. This fact alone goes a long way to explaining what's wrong with me.

I saw No Doubt back when Goo Goo Dolls were almost cool

Record Store Cashier, scanning my CDs: This is a pretty bizarre mix of music. And it's $33.70.
Ryan: Oh, I have this coupon.
Cashier, to other Cashier: Hey Linda, check this guy's CDs out. This is one for the records. And, honey, your coupon is for our other location.
Linda, holding Ryan's new Girl Talk CD: This is one of my favorite CDs.
Ryan, holding his new Janacek mass: What about this one?
Linda: That's the one that makes us think you're weird.
Cashier: That's what I was thinking!
Ryan: So you guys judge everybody who buys music, right?
Linda: Absolutely. And the worst are the ones who buy Gwen Stefani.

Everybody now: "Riprap!"

Every since my friend Boobers told me about riprap (riprap!), I get jazzed about yelling out the word whenever I drive by an example of it. For instance, here, when I took this (admittedly crappy) photo:

I was totally yelling "RIPRAP!!!!" In the car. All by myself. It's that much fun to say.

Wherein I Have Bad Timing

Is there a word for the conception of a joke that, just a little while ago, might've been funny but now just seems kind of lame? I think "postpwnment" could work, though it's inexact. Perhaps if I tell you the joke you can help:

"Knock-knock."

"Who's there?"

"Sarah Palin."

"Sarah Palin who?"

"Exactly."

Harvest

has begun. And, as such, being all busy and not having much energy after work for more than a beer and ten minutes of FIFA 08, I thought I'd post a picture I took two years ago in Mexico.

I've been going through and organizing photos on the camera and computer. A lot of stuff I had forgotten about. Which is, of course, the reason we take pictures. Unless we are professional photographers. In which case it's for the money. Here's this one:

Of one of the towns in Cinqueterra. I'm not sure which one. This is where my mom wants to go for her upcoming birthday, to hike between all five towns. Which is awesome.
